IATPA's Mission

IATPA (International Air Transport Passenger Association) is a non-profit independent organization, providing information and professional assistance for airline passengers:

  • To support passengers in "unfair" cases
  • to promote reasonable and fair terms and conditions for flight tickets
  • to ensure that airline companies abide by IATA regulations.

Supported by more than 15,000 individuals in 130 countries, IATPA provides information, advise and support services for passengers, cooperate with government agencies, and other consumer organizations to ensure fair and high level of passengers servicing

IATPA's Start

IATPA was founded by Mr. David Malovani, (57) a frequent buisness and pleasure airline consumer.
In 2011 David had an extremely unpleasant "No-Show" experience with Delta Airlines.  Later, he discovered that
the manner in which Delta Airlines had handled his case was in violation of IATA regulations.  As the result he went to the court and eventually  won his "No-Show" case.

As a result David created IATPA.

IATPA main goal from day one become the sharing of professional knowledge and insight into IATA related information aiming to help passengers worldwide in "unfair" cases.
